Hello and welcome. I'm Howie Shareff and I'm going to introduce you to a relaxing way to heal and get fit. The yoga programs on this site were created based upon my limited mobility due to arthritis. You can read more about me and my teacher, Julie here.
Limited mobility doesn't mean you can't be fit and healthy. These yoga programs are great for people who suffer from arthritis, fibromyalgia, or any other disability that interferes with mobility. Chair yoga is also a wonderful program for senior citizens and has been used in a number of retirement communities and elder care homes. If you're one of the many busy executives, chair yoga is also a great way to de-stress and get fit from your office chair, or while waiting at the airport!.

Because it's difficult for physically challenged people to get down on the floor, I was to trained as a "Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Teacher" in May 2008. Yoga exercises are now accessible to everyone:
- Current range of student ages: 20 - 97 years young
- Can be performed from the sitting position in a chair
- Currently used in community settings like senior living facilities and women's shelters
- Can easily be used in the home setting on an individual basis
- Quick de-stressing element is great for use in the office.
